The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced that it will remain closed for three days on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

According to a notification issued on Friday, the central bank will observe public holidays from May 26 to May 28, 2025 (Tuesday to Thursday).

“The State Bank of Pakistan will remain closed from May 26 to May 28, 2025 on account of Eid-ul-Adha holidays,” the statement said.

Commercial banks across the country will also remain closed during the same period.

In addition, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) will also observe a three-day closure in line with the banking holidays. A formal circular regarding the trading suspension is expected to be issued soon.
