A draft US-Iran peace framework under discussion includes a large-scale reconstruction package for Iran, potentially valued at around $300 billion.
According to The Kobeissi Letter, the proposed arrangement would structure the funding as an international investment mechanism intended to support post-conflict reconstruction efforts, with facilitation from the United States.
The framework is also linked to negotiations aimed at reducing tensions and establishing a temporary de-escalation arrangement between the two sides. It is understood that discussions include phased security and maritime provisions as part of a wider settlement process.
Iran is also seeking financial reparations as part of the broader peace negotiations, although final terms have not been agreed.
Under the proposed structure, a short-term truce window of around 60 days is being discussed to allow both sides to work toward a more comprehensive agreement. In case of progress, the framework could potentially be advanced toward formal international endorsement.
Officials from both countries have not publicly confirmed the reported details, and the proposal remains subject to change as negotiations continue.
If finalized, the deal would represent a significant shift in US-Iran relations after years of heightened regional tensions.
