Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Saturday, with the local market following a rise in international gold rates.

The price of gold climbed by Rs. 400 per tola to reach Rs. 457,136, according to rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 10-gram gold also increased by Rs. 343 to Rs. 391,920.

Gold had declined sharply on Friday, when the price of one tola fell by Rs. 5,600 to Rs. 456,736.

In the international market, gold gained $4 to reach $4,346 per ounce.

Silver prices also moved higher in the local market, rising by Rs. 53 to Rs. 6,924 per tola.
