International Packaging Films Limited (IPAK) posted consolidated revenue of Rs. 11.13 billion for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, marking a 9.2 percent increase from the same period last year.

The company’s consolidated profit after tax edged up to Rs. 705 million from Rs. 704 million a year earlier. Earnings per share improved to Rs. 1.08 from Rs. 1.01.

Gross profit, however, fell to Rs. 1.62 billion from Rs. 1.75 billion in the corresponding quarter. Finance costs decreased by 16 percent during the period.

The company attributed the pressure on quarterly margins to a return to normal trading conditions after stronger results in the two quarters before fiscal year 2026. It said its focus has shifted towards making better use of its expanded production capacity, improving product mix and growing its presence in domestic and international markets.

Export revenue increased to Rs. 3.515 billion from Rs. 2.442 billion in the same period last year, nearly doubling year-on-year. The company put export sales at approximately $12.68 million.

IPAK’s standalone results showed revenue of Rs. 3.42 billion and profit after tax of Rs. 211 million for the quarter.

The company also pointed to potential supply chain disruptions stemming from the ongoing crisis in the Middle East. Risks include uncertainty over the availability of raw materials, shipping routes, delivery schedules and transportation costs.

Management said it would prioritize uninterrupted supplies, operational continuity and working capital management while pursuing efficiency improvements, higher-value products and export growth.
