Pakistan Customs has detained 9,000 banned Boostin injections, valued at over Rs. 20 million, at Islamabad International Airport.
The seizure occurred during the clearance of an incoming flight from Doha, flight no. QR 632, when a passenger from Lahore was found carrying the injections in his checked luggage.
Customs authorities, acting on credible information about an attempt to smuggle foreign-origin Boostin injections via flight no. SV 726 from Jeddah to Islamabad, intercepted the passenger at the arrival hall. Customs staff members Muhammad Haroon and Muhammad Munir marked the suspect’s bags at the BHS scanning machine.
Upon examination of the luggage in the presence of the accused, the customs officials discovered the 9,000 Boostin injections. The passenger was unable to provide any justification for importing the banned items, leading to their detention by customs authorities.
