The government has replaced Capt (Retd) Saif Anjum with Capt (Retd) Asadullah Khan as Secretary Industries and Production with immediate effect.

According to an official notification, Capt (Retd) Asadullah Khan, a BS-21 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred from his post as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Highway Authority (NHA).

Khan has been appointed Secretary Industries and Production Division under Section 10 of the Civil Servants Act, 1973, and will hold the position until further orders.

Before the transfer, Khan was serving as CEO of the NHA under the Communications Division.

The notification stated that his transfer and posting were made under Section 10 of the Civil Servants Act, 1973.
