The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has facilitated the raising of Rs. 144.153 billion for the Ministry of Finance through a Government of Pakistan Hybrid Sukuk auction conducted on August 19, 2026.
According to an official announcement shared by PSX on X, investors submitted bids with a combined face value of Rs. 573.007 billion. The realized value of the bids reached Rs. 553.564 billion.
The auction included discounted Sukuk with maturities of three months, six months and one year, along with a 10-year Variable Rental Rate (VRR) Sukuk.
The three-month instrument had a cut-off yield of 11.4788%, while the weighted average yield was 11.4462%.
For the six-month Sukuk, the cut-off yield stood at 11.6801%, with a weighted average yield of 11.8519%.
The one-year Sukuk was priced at a cut-off yield of 11.9400%, compared with a weighted average yield of 11.9083%.
Meanwhile, the 10-year VRR Sukuk carried a cut-off yield of 11.6304%, compared with a reference rate of 11.3904%. Its weighted average yield was 11.6254%.
The auction was conducted to raise funds for the Ministry of Finance through government-issued Shariah-compliant securities.
