Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Monday, with the price of one tola rising by Rs. 1,200 as international gold rates moved higher.
According to rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold reached Rs. 437,536 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs. 1,029 to Rs. 375,116.
Gold had closed at Rs. 436,336 per tola on Saturday after falling by Rs. 4,300 during the previous session.
The increase in local prices came as international gold rates gained $12, reaching $4,150 per ounce.
Meanwhile, silver prices also moved higher. The price of silver increased by Rs. 66 to reach Rs. 6,588 per tola, marking a new all-time high.
