Pakistan has indicated that Turkey and Qatar may join a developing mutual defense cooperation arrangement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, as shifting geopolitical tensions reshape security alignments across the Middle East and South Asia.

This was disclosed by Defense Minister Khawaja Asif while talking to media persons earlier on Monday.

The proposed framework is still being finalized.

The minister said that the inclusion of Qatar and Turkey into the existing understanding would be a positive development.
