The United States is offering a reward of up to $20 million for information about Iran’s nuclear program, including its facilities, equipment, scientists, and the movement of related assets.

The offer has been announced through the State Department’s Rewards for Justice program, which is seeking information that could help identify key components and people associated with Iran’s nuclear activities. The reward may also include relocation for individuals who provide useful information.

US Central Command (CENTCOM) shared the announcement on X, while the official notice was published on the Rewards for Justice website, operated by the State Department’s Diplomatic Security Service.

The latest offer comes roughly a year after President Donald Trump claimed that US and Israeli military strikes had destroyed Iran’s nuclear facilities.

The renewed search for intelligence suggests Washington is still seeking information about the condition of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure and what may remain of its nuclear program following the attacks.

In 2025, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported that Iran was enriching uranium to 60 percent purity. This is considerably above the level required for civilian nuclear energy, although still below the approximately 90 percent enrichment generally associated with weapons-grade uranium.

Iran remains the only country without nuclear weapons known to be producing uranium at this enrichment level. The IAEA has warned that Iran’s accumulated stockpile could potentially provide enough material for several nuclear weapons if enriched further.

The agency has also reported losing continuity of knowledge over Iran’s centrifuges and other important nuclear-related components, making it harder to maintain a complete picture of the country’s nuclear activities.

The $20 million reward is aimed at obtaining fresh information about these facilities, materials, equipment, and individuals involved in the program.
