Gold prices in Pakistan remained unchanged on Saturday after recording a sharp decline a day earlier.

According to rates released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold stood at Rs. 429,136 per tola, unchanged from Friday.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold remained stable at Rs. 367,914.

The pause followed a Rs. 6,500 per tola decline on Friday, which brought the local gold rate down to its current level.

International Gold and Silver Prices

In the international market, gold prices also remained unchanged at $4,066 per ounce.

Silver prices, however, declined by Rs. 10 per tola to settle at Rs. 5,668.

What This Means for Buyers

With Saturday’s rates unchanged, the cost of different quantities of 24-karat gold remained as follows:

  • Half a tola: approximately Rs. 214,568.
  • One tola: Rs. 429,136.
  • Two tolas: approximately Rs. 858,272.

Despite Saturday’s pause, gold remains Rs. 6,500 per tola cheaper than its price before Friday’s decline.

These rates apply to 24-karat gold. Buyers purchasing jewellery may have to pay additional making charges depending on the design and jeweller.
