The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has instructed all Inland Revenue field offices to remain open on Saturday, May 23, 2026, and Sunday, May 24, 2026, as part of ongoing revenue collection operations.

Under the directive, Large Taxpayer Offices (LTOs), Medium Tax Offices (MTOs), Corporate Tax Offices (CTOs), and Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) will observe regular working hours during the weekend.

The decision has been issued to ensure uninterrupted tax and duty collection activities. All concerned field formations have been directed to remain fully operational on the specified dates.

The notification has also been circulated to senior FBR officials, including the Chairman’s office and the Member Inland Revenue (Operations), with instructions for issuing a press release and updating official channels.
