Pakistan Services Limited (PSX: PSEL), which operates the Pearl Continental hotel chain, has confirmed that it is negotiating a proposed restructuring to settle an ownership dispute pending before the Islamabad High Court.

In a material information notice sent to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Monday, the company referred to a disclosure made by Thatta Cement Company Limited on September 10 regarding the proposed restructuring.

Pakistan Services said the restructuring is being discussed as part of efforts to reach an amicable settlement in Companies Original No. 17 of 2025 before the Islamabad High Court.

The company said the arrangement will be finalized through definitive agreements. Further details will be shared with the Pakistan Stock Exchange and other relevant authorities once the agreements are completed.

Pakistan Services added that any development requiring disclosure under applicable laws and regulations will be communicated to the stock exchange.

The proposed restructuring is linked to a long-running ownership dispute involving Pakistan Services. Media reports have said that five Pearl Continental properties could be divided between Thatta Cement and Fauji Foundation under a proposed out-of-court settlement.

The dispute reportedly involves around 56 percent of Pakistan Services’ voting shares.
