Gold prices in Pakistan fell sharply on Monday, with the price of gold declining by Rs. 3,800 per tola as international bullion rates also moved lower.
According to rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), gold dropped to Rs. 453,336 per tola.
The price of 10-gram gold also decreased by Rs. 3,258 to Rs. 388,662.
The decline came after gold prices gained Rs. 400 on Saturday, when the price reached Rs. 457,136 per tola.
In the international market, gold fell by $38 to $4,308 per ounce, putting additional pressure on domestic prices.
Silver prices also declined on Monday. The price of silver fell by Rs. 122 to Rs. 6,802 per tola.
