Zuma Resources Limited has made a major entry into the international telecom industry after signing a strategic connectivity agreement with Telna North America Inc., enabling it to offer global mobile services including eSIM solutions, data packages, voice services, and international roaming.
In a formal disclosure to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the company stated that the agreement provides access to Telna’s extensive multi-network global infrastructure, allowing Zuma to operate across multiple countries without building its own telecom backbone.
Through this partnership, Zuma plans to launch its own international telecom brand and function as a global service provider. The arrangement also gives the company room to collaborate with additional partners and expand services depending on market demand and subscriber growth.
The move represents a significant transformation in Zuma’s business strategy as it shifts from its traditional operations toward developing a technology-focused telecom platform aimed at global digital connectivity markets. The initial term of the agreement is three years, with expected revenues generated through service resale and usage-based billing models that scale with customer adoption.
The company also confirmed it is considering applying for a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) license from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, which would allow it to offer telecom services within Pakistan, subject to regulatory approval.
Company representatives said the initiative positions Zuma to benefit from the rising global demand for eSIM-based services and digital connectivity, while opening new international revenue channels through telecom expansion.
