Pakistan’s aviation industry is set to see renewed activity after regulators granted long-awaited approvals to Jet Green Private Limited, enabling the proposed $30 million private airline to advance toward operational launch.

The project had faced regulatory delays for almost ten years before authorities coordinated with multiple government bodies and aviation regulators to clear outstanding requirements.

Officials confirmed that essential formalities — including airline licensing, safety approvals, commercial authorizations, and certification processes — have now been completed.

With these approvals secured, Jet Green has moved beyond the planning phase and is preparing for operational readiness, positioning itself as a new entrant in Pakistan’s private aviation market.

The addition of another airline is expected to strengthen competition within the sector while also generating new employment opportunities in aviation and supporting industries.
