Sakrand Sugar Mills Limited (PSX: SKRS) has completed the transfer of a 25 percent equity stake to incoming investors, marking a key milestone in the implementation of its revival plan.
In a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday, the company said the transaction was finalized after obtaining all required regulatory approvals.
The sale of the 25 percent stake was one of the central components of the revival plan previously approved by the company’s Board of Directors and disclosed to the PSX. Under the plan, the incoming investors were to acquire shares from the existing sponsors and directors.
The company said the successful completion of the stake transfer represents significant progress in executing its revival strategy and informed shareholders of the latest development.
Sakrand Sugar did not disclose the identity of the incoming investors or the financial terms of the transaction in its filing.
