Pakistan will begin mango exports from June 1, 2026, after the Ministry of Commerce officially revised the export schedule through a notification.
According to the ministry, shipments for the 2026 mango season will now be allowed only from June 1, while all other terms and conditions under the existing export policy will remain unchanged.
The decision was taken following requests from industry stakeholders, suggesting concerns related to crop maturity, quality standards, and supply readiness at the start of the season.
The revised timeline marks a slight change from previous years, when mango exports typically began in late May, including May 25 in the 2025 season.
Pakistan remains among the world’s major mango exporters, supplying key international markets in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. Popular varieties such as Sindhri and Chaunsa continue to see strong global demand.
