An Additional District and Sessions Court (South) has acquitted Anmol, alias Pinky, in a narcotics case registered by Gizri Police Station after allowing her application for acquittal.
During the proceedings, defence counsel informed the court that two co-accused, Ali and Fahmeeda, had already been acquitted in the same case in 2024. The lawyer argued that Anmol was later nominated in the FIR only on the basis of statements attributed to those co-accused, without independent evidence linking her to the alleged offence.
After hearing the arguments and examining the available record, the court accepted the plea and acquitted Anmol alias Pinky of all charges in the case.
With the latest decision, every accused named in the Gizri Police Station narcotics case has now been cleared by the court.
