A branding and advertising initiative at Islamabad International Airport has significantly increased the airport’s non-aeronautical revenue, according to the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA).

Officials said monthly income generated from branding and advertising activities at the airport has risen from around Rs500,000 to Rs50 million following the expansion of commercial advertising opportunities across the facility.

The increase reflects a 100-fold rise in revenue, with advertising spaces being utilized by a range of local and international companies.

According to the PAA, the initiative is part of efforts to strengthen commercial revenue streams through the broader use of airport infrastructure and facilities. Advertising and branding placements have been introduced at various locations throughout the airport to attract corporate clients and maximize the commercial value of available space.

The authority said the program is aimed at improving revenue generation from non-aviation sources while enhancing the airport’s commercial offerings.

Officials added that the airport continues to explore additional opportunities to expand commercial activities and increase returns from its assets.
