Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Saturday, tracking a drop in global bullion rates.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola fell by Rs2,200, settling at Rs473,162 in the local market. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs1,886 to Rs405,660.
On Friday, gold had remained unchanged at Rs475,362 per tola.
In the international market, gold also slipped, falling by $22 to $4,508 per ounce, which contributed to the downward adjustment in domestic prices.
