The latest gain comes after gold prices recorded a sharp increase of Rs. 5,900 per tola on Friday, when the international price climbed by $59 to reach $4,184 per ounce. Local gold rates had also increased by Rs. 600 per tola on Thursday.

Despite the recent recovery, gold prices have experienced considerable fluctuations in Pakistan over the past several days, with declines followed by fresh gains as international prices move.

The domestic market generally tracks international gold prices, although local rates can also be affected by exchange rate movements and market conditions.
