Pakistan’s gold prices rebounded on Saturday, tracking gains in the international market after a sharp decline a day earlier.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold surged by Rs2,400 per tola to Rs424,236.

The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs2,057, reaching Rs363,713.

The recovery comes after gold had fallen by Rs3,600 per tola on Friday, when it closed at Rs421,836.

In the global market, gold rose by $24 to $4,018 per ounce, including a $20 premium, providing support to domestic prices.

Meanwhile, silver prices also moved higher, with the price per tola rising by Rs41 to Rs6,070.
