Gold prices fell sharply in Pakistan on Tuesday, tracking a decline in the international market.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold dropped by Rs. 4,000 per tola to Rs. 449,336.

The price of 10-gram gold also decreased by Rs. 3,429 to Rs. 385,233.

On Monday, gold had closed at Rs. 453,336 per tola after falling Rs. 3,800 during the day.

In the international market, gold declined by $40 to $4,268 per ounce.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged at Rs. 6,802 per tola.
