Gold prices in Pakistan continued their downward trend on Thursday, marking the fourth consecutive day of declines amid fresh weakness in global bullion markets.
In the international market, gold prices fell by $52 per ounce, settling at $4,714 per ounce. Following the global slide, domestic bullion rates also recorded a sharp decrease.
According to market data, the price of gold per tola in Pakistan dropped by Rs. 5,200, closing at Rs. 493,762 compared to Rs. 498,962 recorded a day earlier.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs. 4,458, bringing it down to Rs. 423,321.
Silver prices also followed the same direction. The rate of silver per tola decreased by Rs. 225, reaching Rs. 8,099 in the local market.
