Gold prices in Pakistan fell by Rs1,000 per tola on Tuesday, following a decline in international gold rates.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold dropped to Rs462,136 per tola. The price of 10-gram gold also decreased by Rs857 to Rs396,207.
In the international market, gold fell by $10 to $4,396 per ounce.
The local gold market had recorded a sharper decline on Monday, when the price fell by Rs2,400 per tola to Rs463,136.
Meanwhile, silver prices moved higher on Tuesday, rising by Rs10 to Rs7,069 per tola.
