Chenab Limited has approved the sale of three non-core assets, with the proceeds to be used entirely to repay the company’s debt.

The decision was taken by the company’s board at a meeting held on September 9, 2026, and is subject to approval from the secured creditors.

The assets include a weaving unit covering 197 kanals and 16 marlas in Tehsil Shahkot, District Nankana Sahib. The sale will include the unit’s buildings, plant, and machinery.

Chenab will also sell a 16-kanal and 13-marla property, including buildings, located at Chak No. 191 RB on Jhumra Road, Gatti, Faisalabad.

The third asset consists of open plots measuring four kanals and 2.5 sarsahi outside the company’s main unit in Nishatabad, Faisalabad.

The company said these properties are not part of its core operations and their sale will not affect its production or business activities.

Chenab added that all proceeds from the asset sales will be used to repay its outstanding debt.
