The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has approved the release of an Eid-ul-Adha allowance equivalent to one month’s running basic pay for Muslim employees in BPS-1 to BPS-16. The approval was granted by the CDA Chairman, while the official notification was issued by the Finance Wing (General) on May 22, 2026.

As per the notification, the allowance will be calculated on the basis of running basic pay as of April 30, 2026. The benefit will also be extended to contract employees, daily-wage workers, and muster roll staff working under the authority. The payments have been directed to be disbursed before May 25, 2026, ahead of Eid-ul-Adha.

The notification clarifies that contractual, daily-wage, and muster roll employees will be eligible in line with their service conditions, provided they were working during the relevant period and were engaged against sanctioned posts for the required duration.

All relevant offices, including the CDA Treasury Division, Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs), and Accounts Officers, have been instructed to ensure timely processing and release of payments to eligible staff without delay.

The expenditure will be met from the approved budget for the fiscal year 2025–26. Any additional funding requirements or adjustments will be handled by Finance Wing-I in coordination with the concerned departments.
