Fast Cables Limited (PSX: FCL) has consolidated two of its manufacturing facilities in Lahore as part of a strategic efficiency drive expected to deliver annual savings of around Rs. 100 million.

In a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the company said its Unit 1 at 7 Canal Bank, Main Jallo Road, Harbans Pura has been merged with Unit 2 located at Ijtama Chowk, Sundar Industrial Road, Raiwind.

The company said the move follows its recent expansion and modernization efforts aimed at streamlining operations, improving resource use, and strengthening production efficiency.

Fast Cables expects the consolidation to enhance quality control, reduce operational redundancies, shorten production cycles, and improve overall supply chain performance. The integration of both facilities into a unified manufacturing setup is also expected to better align operations and support rising demand.

The company, a key player in Pakistan’s cable and electrical wire industry, serves the power, construction, and infrastructure sectors. Established nearly four decades ago, Fast Cables was incorporated as a limited company in 2008 and is listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
