Pakistan’s two leading fertilizer producers, Fauji Fertilizer Company and Engro Fertilizers, are expected to increase urea prices once again by Rs. 75 to Rs. 100 per bag, according to JS Global CFA analyst Waqas Ghani, as reported by ProPakistani.

Currently, Fauji Fertilizer’s urea is priced at Rs. 4,286 per bag, while Engro Fertilizers is selling at Rs. 4,436 per bag in the local market.

This anticipated hike comes shortly after Engro Fertilizers had already raised prices by Rs. 150 per bag earlier this month, pushing its retail rate to around Rs. 4,435 effective April 4, 2026, based on market updates.

If the new increase is implemented, Fauji Fertilizer’s urea price is expected to rise to approximately Rs. 4,361–4,386 per bag, while Engro Fertilizers’ rate could move up to around Rs. 4,511–4,536 per bag.

The expected adjustment adds further pressure on input costs for farmers, as fertilizer prices continue to trend upward in the domestic market.
