The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has ordered the launch of the plot possession process in Islamabad’s E-12, C-14 and I-12 sectors, marking a major step for thousands of allottees who have waited years to take possession of their properties.
According to an official memorandum issued by the CDA’s Sector Development Division-II on June 16, development work has been completed on several plots in Sector E-12, making them ready for possession. The authority also confirmed that a number of plots in C-14 and I-12 are now ready for handover, with lists of eligible plots forwarded to the Directors of Estate Management-I and Estate Management-II for further processing.
The memorandum states that allottees from the three sectors have repeatedly requested possession of their plots. In response, the Estate Management Directorates have been instructed to complete the required formalities and begin handing over possession without unnecessary delay.
The possession process will be carried out in phases as additional development work is completed. The move is expected to provide long-awaited relief to affected allottees while paving the way for increased residential construction and development activity across the three sectors.
