Supernet Technologies Limited has officially expanded its international footprint by launching its first satellite-based connectivity project in Africa, according to a disclosure filed with the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
The deployment has been completed in Tanzania, where the company, through its subsidiary SupernetGlobal, is now providing internet services powered by satellite infrastructure.
This marks the company’s first operational satellite connectivity project on the African continent. The firm already maintains an international presence through its operations in the United Arab Emirates.
Supernet Technologies Limited stated that the initiative is part of its broader global expansion strategy, with Africa identified as a key growth region for its communications and connectivity solutions.
The company has historically worked in telecom, defense, enterprise, and mission-critical communication systems, with satellite-based services forming a core part of its expertise.
According to the filing, the Tanzania project may serve as a foundation for further expansion into other African markets. The company also indicated potential future growth into additional digital services, including cybersecurity and enterprise technology solutions in international markets.
