Service Long March Tyres Limited (SLM Tyres) has increased its annual production capacity for truck and bus radial tyres by 25 percent, raising output from 1.6 million to 2 million tyres per year.

In a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company said the expansion has been successfully completed and represents another step in its long-term growth strategy.

The higher production capacity is expected to enable SLM Tyres to meet increasing demand from both domestic and international markets while strengthening its position in the truck and bus radial tyre segment.

The company added that the expansion is likely to support future revenue growth and improve overall profitability by increasing manufacturing efficiency and sales volumes.

SLM Tyres is a joint venture between Pakistan’s Service Industries Limited and China’s Long March Tyres. The company manufactures truck and bus radial tyres for local and export markets, with the latest capacity enhancement aimed at capitalizing on growing demand for locally produced tyres and expanding its export footprint.
