The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has urged mobile phone users to enable Wi-Fi Calling and check their 4G/LTE settings to improve call quality and connectivity.
The authority said users may experience poor signals and difficulty making calls inside buildings, basements, and other areas with weak mobile coverage.
Wi-Fi Calling allows users to make calls over a Wi-Fi internet connection when mobile signals are weak. However, the feature is available only on supported phones and mobile networks.
The PTA has advised users to check their phone settings and enable Wi-Fi Calling if the option is available. Users who cannot find or activate the feature should contact their mobile operators to check compatibility.
The authority has also recommended checking 4G/LTE settings and ensuring that both the phone and SIM card support 4G services.
Users facing persistent connectivity problems can contact their mobile operators for assistance or visit the PTA’s official website at www.pta.gov.pk.
