The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has announced a scheduled network infrastructure upgrade that may temporarily affect access to its Device Identification, Registration and Blocking System (DIRBS).

In an official statement, PTA said the maintenance activity will begin at 5:00 PM on June 24, 2026, and continue until 6:00 AM on June 25, 2026.

During this period, users may experience intermittent disruptions or temporary unavailability of DIRBS services, including online mobile device registration and PTA tax payment-related processes, as the authority carries out technical upgrades.

PTA said the upgrade is intended to enhance the stability, security, reliability, and overall performance of its network infrastructure and digital services.

The authority added that its technical teams will continuously monitor the maintenance work to minimize service interruptions and restore any affected systems as quickly as possible.

PTA also requested the cooperation and patience of users and stakeholders while the scheduled maintenance is underway.
