The British pound strengthened against the Pakistani rupee on Tuesday, while the US dollar, euro and other major currencies recorded mixed movements in the latest exchange-rate update.
According to the latest rates, the pound increased by Rs. 0.1551 to Rs. 378.4162, compared with Rs. 378.2611 on August 24.
The US dollar also gained Rs. 0.0287, rising from Rs. 277.5515 to Rs. 277.5228.
The euro, meanwhile, increased by Rs. 0.1030 to Rs. 323.5915, from Rs. 323.6945 a day earlier.
Among other major currencies, the Australian dollar rose by Rs. 0.4924 to Rs. 198.2345, while the Malaysian ringgit gained Rs. 0.0749 to Rs. 68.5750.
The Chinese yuan edged up by Rs. 0.0018 to Rs. 41.2787.
The Canadian dollar increased by Rs. 0.2811 to Rs. 200.2257.
The UAE dirham rose marginally by Rs. 0.0016 to Rs. 75.5637, while the Saudi riyal increased by Rs. 0.0086 to Rs. 73.9154.
The latest figures reflect movements in major international currencies against the Pakistani rupee based on the reported exchange rates for August 25, 2026.
