Petrol prices have increased for the fifth consecutive pricing day, with the latest daily revision taking the price of motor spirit to Rs. 396.65 per litre, according to the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
Petrol has become costlier by Rs. 1.82 per litre, while the price of high speed diesel has been reduced by Rs. 0.91 to Rs. 394.94 per litre.
The latest revision follows Tuesday’s increase of Rs. 1.19 in petrol prices, which took the rate to Rs. 394.83 per litre. Diesel was reduced by Rs. 1.91 to Rs. 395.85 per litre on the same day.
Since the start of daily fuel price revisions, petrol has increased by Rs. 85.94 per litre from Rs. 310.71, while diesel has risen by Rs. 71.64 per litre from Rs. 323.30.
