Pakistan’s imports from Iran increased 17 percent year-on-year to $248 million during July and August 2026.

Imports during the same period last year stood at $212 million, showing an increase of $36 million in the first two months of the current fiscal year.

The latest figures continue the steady growth in Pakistan’s imports from Iran seen over recent years.

Pakistan imported goods worth $1.395 billion from Iran in fiscal year 2025-26, up 12 percent from $1.241 billion a year earlier.

Imports from Iran reached $1.037 billion in fiscal year 2023-24, compared with $880 million in fiscal year 2022-23 and $773.8 million in fiscal year 2021-22.

The value stood at $518.6 million in fiscal year 2020-21 and about $440 million in fiscal year 2019-20.

The latest data shows that Pakistan’s imports from Iran have continued to rise despite regional uncertainty.
