Pakistan has successfully conducted a test of the locally developed Fatah-4 ground-launched cruise missile, according to the military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations.

The statement said the Fatah-4 missile is equipped with an advanced navigation support system and has the capability to strike targets at long ranges with high precision.

Senior officers from the Army Rocket Force Command witnessed the test launch, which forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Pakistan’s indigenous defense capabilities.

According to ISPR, President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, senior military leadership including the Chief of Defence Forces, as well as the chiefs of the Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Navy, congratulated the scientists, engineers, and personnel involved in the successful trial.

Officials described the test as a demonstration of Pakistan’s continued progress in advanced missile technology and precision strike capability.
