Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves recorded a slight increase during the week ending June 12, 2026, according to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
Total liquid foreign reserves rose by $70 million to $22.742 billion, compared to $22.672 billion in the previous week.
The central bank reported that its own reserves increased marginally by $6 million, reaching $17.221 billion from $17.215 billion a week earlier.
Meanwhile, reserves held by commercial banks also showed an upward trend, rising by $64 million to $5.521 billion from $5.457 billion in the previous week.
The overall increase reflects a modest improvement in the country’s external position during the reporting period.
