MG Motor Pakistan has officially launched the MG4 EV Urban in the local market, expanding its electric vehicle lineup with a compact all-electric hatchback.

The vehicle features a 43 kWh battery pack paired with a front-wheel-drive electric motor delivering 110 kW of power and 250 Nm of torque. The company states that the EV offers a driving range of up to 316 kilometres on a single charge under WLTP standards.

The MG4 EV Urban supports DC fast charging, enabling the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 28 minutes.

Inside the cabin, the hatchback is equipped with a 12.8-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, heated front seats, and a suite of driver assistance technologies.

Safety and driver assistance systems include Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Keep Assist, and a 540-degree surround-view camera system.

The vehicle was launched at an event in Lahore attended by dealership partners, media representatives, and industry stakeholders.

The MG4 EV Urban has been introduced in Pakistan at a price of Rs. 6,949,000.
