Rector of the National University of Technology (NUTECH), Lt Gen (Retd) Moazzam Ejaz, has been nominated for the Hilal-i-Imtiaz in the Education (Administration) category under the proposed Pakistan Civil Awards 2026.

The proposed honours list also includes renowned television producer Sultana Siddiqi, transplant surgeon Prof. Faisal Saud Dar, and poets Ejaz Rahim and Muhammad Khurshid Ul Hasan Rizvi, all of whom have been recommended for the Hilal-i-Imtiaz in their respective fields.
In the education category, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Raza Shah, Prof. Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal, economist Dr. Rashid Amjad, and Taaleem Foundation founder Dr. Zafar Iqbal Qadir have been recommended for the Sitara-i-Imtiaz.

The recommendations are part of the proposed Civil Awards 2026 list and will be finalized after completion of the official approval process.
