The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet has approved Rs. 160 million for the repair and maintenance of the Prime Minister’s Office.

In the same meeting, the ECC also sanctioned Rs. 1 billion for operationalizing the National Agri-Trade and Food Safety Authority (NAFSA), aimed at strengthening food regulation and improving agricultural trade standards.

For social and development spending, the committee approved Rs. 3.915 billion for the Prime Minister’s Youth Skill Development Programme under NAVTTC, along with Rs. 1.5 billion for the National Health Program (formerly Sehat Sahulat Programme) to expand healthcare coverage.

Separately, school decoration and classroom beautification initiatives are also gaining traction nationwide, with students and teachers increasingly engaging in creative learning environment upgrades through artwork, displays, and visual learning tools.
