Gold prices fell in Pakistan on Thursday, reversing part of the previous session’s gains after a decline in international bullion markets.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs. 1,800 per tola to Rs. 432,036.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also declined by Rs. 1,543, settling at Rs. 370,401.

The fall came a day after gold surged Rs. 4,600 per tola, reaching Rs. 433,836 in the local market.

In the international market, gold prices slipped by $18 to $4,096 per ounce, including a $20 premium, contributing to the decline in domestic rates.

Meanwhile, silver also moved lower, with its price falling by Rs. 33 per tola to Rs. 6,370.
