Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a sharp rebound on Thursday, tracking a strong upswing in global markets after a recent decline.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs. 5,000, reaching Rs. 475,362.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs. 4,287 to settle at Rs. 407,546.

This recovery follows a drop of Rs. 6,800 recorded on Wednesday, when prices closed at Rs. 470,362 after remaining unchanged a day earlier.

In the international market, gold gained $50 per ounce, climbing to $4,530 as investor demand strengthened amid renewed economic uncertainty.

Silver prices also moved upward, rising by Rs. 60 per tola to close at Rs. 8,034 in the local market.
