Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Friday, ending a three-day upward streak as international bullion markets weakened following a sharp fall in Gulf and European trading sessions.
In the global market, gold dropped by $34.3 per ounce, settling at $4,790.7 per ounce. The downturn also impacted local rates, where the price of per tola gold fell by Rs. 3,300 to Rs. 501,562.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs. 2,829, bringing it down to Rs. 430,008.
On Thursday, per tola gold had stood at Rs. 504,862, reflecting the recent volatility in the bullion market.
Silver prices also followed the downward trend, with per tola silver falling by Rs. 70 to Rs. 8,444.
