Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a slight decline for the second consecutive day this week, according to the All-Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association. On Tuesday, the price of 24-carat gold fell by Rs. 600 per tola, bringing it down to Rs. 274,900. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs. 515, settling at Rs. 235,682. The price of 22-carat gold also saw a reduction, dropping to Rs. 216,042 from Rs. 216,514.
This follows a Rs. 500 per tola decrease in gold prices on Monday. The recent declines have brought the price of gold down by approximately Rs. 2,100 per tola from the record high of Rs. 277,000 registered last week.
Meanwhile, the prices of silver remained stable, with per tola and 10-gram silver holding steady at Rs. 3,050 and Rs. 2,614.88, respectively.
In the international market, gold prices also saw a decrease, falling by $6 to $2,647 from $2,653, as reported by the Association.
