Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Monday, with the local market following a rise in international bullion rates.
According to rates released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold rose by Rs. 800 per tola to Rs. 457,366.
The price of 10-gram gold also increased by Rs. 685, reaching Rs. 392,091.
Gold had already gained Rs. 2,200 per tola on Saturday, when the price closed at Rs. 456,536.
In the international market, gold gained $8 to reach $4,349 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Silver prices also moved higher in the domestic market. The price of silver increased by Rs. 77 per tola to Rs. 6,903.
