Gold prices in Pakistan declined again on Tuesday, tracking a sudden downturn in the international bullion market.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs. 1,100, bringing it down to Rs. 491,362.

The price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs. 943 to settle at Rs. 421,263.

This follows a recent increase of Rs. 4,100, when gold had closed at Rs. 492,462 per tola in the local market earlier.

In the global market, gold prices dropped by $11 per ounce, settling at $4,690 per ounce.

Meanwhile, silver moved in the opposite direction, rising by Rs. 231 to close at Rs. 9,139.
