Gold prices in Pakistan declined on Tuesday, tracking a slight fall in international bullion markets.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs. 500 per tola to Rs. 427,936.

The price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs. 428, settling at Rs. 366,886.

The decline follows Monday’s increase, when gold had gained Rs. 1,700 per tola to close at Rs. 428,436.

In the international market, gold prices slipped by $5 per ounce to $4,055, including a premium of $20 per ounce.

Meanwhile, silver prices moved in the opposite direction. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs. 60, reaching Rs. 6,351 in the local market.
